Frequently Asked Questions

How many school holiday clubs can my child attend?

Your child(ren) can attend our school clubs for 1 week per school holiday. Should you wish for your child(ren) to attend multiple weeks, please contact us to discuss availability.

Who’s eligible for places at Learning Hive’s school holiday clubs?

Our school holiday clubs are specifically for students who are eligible for Free School Meals. Government funding means there is no cost to parents and students will receive a free healthy lunch each day.

How much do the school holiday clubs cost?

Nothing. Our school holiday clubs are free of charge.

How are the school holiday camps funded?

Our programmes are funded by HAF - Holiday and Activities Programme, under the DfE. This allocates funds to school holiday activities, specifically for disadvantaged students. It stipulates that there is a focus on nutritional education and physical activity which is why our school holiday clubs involve cooking sessions and sports activities.

What if there isn’t a school holiday club at my child’s school?

Your child(ren) do not have to be students at the school club they attend, as long as you live locally.
